My name is Robin Davies. I’m a software developer and application & infrastructure architect by profession. I have been a licensed radio amateur for over 25 years, with the callsign of G7VKQ.
I’m less interested in actually operating, and more interested in the technology, and love building and experimenting with radio equipment and software.
I’m based in suburban SE London, and hence I have very limited space for antennas and equipment. In addition the radio interference in suburban areas is high, and is a constant battle for most radio amateurs, including myself.
Aside from technology, I’m a sucker for KPop, KDramas and CDramas; I am also on a wonderful journey of learning Korean as well. When I retire, I want to make modern furniture with my wife, and spend more time playing with my radios
